Details on what is needed:We are excited to announce an ambitious capital project—estimated at $70,000—to renovate and improve the Pennsylvania Playhouse, a beloved cornerstone of our community. This initiative is focused on enhancing accessibility and ensuring that all patrons, regardless of physical ability, can fully enjoy everything our theater has to offer. Key improvements include: • A new handicap-accessible parking lot located directly beside the building, eliminating the need to cross the street. • The construction of an accessibility ramp for guests who are unable to use stairs. • Overall updates to bring the facility in line with ADA standards and provide a more inclusive experience for everyone. As a historic venue, our building presents unique challenges. However, with your support, we can meet those challenges and create a more welcoming and inclusive space for current and future generations.
