Details on what is needed:Newborn Kitten Rescue saves and rehabilitates orphaned neonatal kittens who would otherwise die or be euthanized because they are sick, injured, underweight. We established Saving Kittens in Partnership (SKIP), a unique program that accepts at-risk kittens from our partner animal shelters to give these neonates a chance at a healthy life in loving adoptive homes. We care for kittens with the support of a network of skilled fosters trained in the specialty care of neonatal kittens and assume all expenses for their veterinary care. Once restored to health, we return adoption-ready kittens to the originating shelter for spay/neuter, microchipping and adoption. Because we focus on this vulnerable population our largest expense is medical/vet costs for the kittens in our care. In 2026 alone medical costs have already exceeded $25,000. And funds received would go toward paying these bills.
